Blakeview
Grove
The new residential land development being
built in Adelaide’s Northern Suburbs is Blakeview
Grove.
Blakeview
Grove
is a creation of the impressive Fairmont
Homes group and boasts an excellent position in the Blakeview
area, just off Craigmore Road. The location benefits from
easy
access
to Main North Road, and is less than 10 minutes drive from
the major shopping centres at Munno Para and Elizabeth
Shopping Centre. Blakeview Grove
is also
excellently located adjacent to the new Delfin development
project, Blakes Crossing.
Delfin are investing significantly into the
Northern Suburbs area of Adelaide, with Blakes Crossing, and
the new Delfin project at Gawler East which is set to increase
the number of homes by over 8,000. And Delfin’s success is
easily seen in their high standard of developing top quality
residential areas, such as Mawson Lakes which has been very
successful. The
excellent location that Blakeview Grove has to
Blakes Crossing will only help to enhance Blakeview Grove, as the
prices for house and land packages here are, overall, lower
than Delfin’s Blakes Crossing development. Those who take up the
opportunity to purchase in Blakeview Grove will also
benefit from the facilities and amenities that Delfin are going
to build within Blakes Crossing. In my opinion I believe that
Blakeview Grove
will receive a real boost in their house and land prices in the
coming years.
The land blocks currently on offer at
Blakeview Grove
appear to be quite level, which will assist you in saving money
on your new purchase as you will not need to spend extra money
on expensive retaining walls. This is something that is
quite often overlooked by purchasers when looking at house and
land packages, but can end up being excessively expensive if
extensive retaining is needed.
One thing that Fairmont have introduced
into the Blakeview
Grove development so far is a selection of English style
terrace houses sold at approx $255,000. These 3 bedroom homes
look like they have just been imported from
England. I
feel that these terrace homes offer first home buyers and
investors excellent value for money, and have the added
benefit of, in general, being a more low maintenance
home. We will probably see
many more of these homes within Adelaide in the coming
decades as developers go back to traditional style
terrace homes in order to be able to offer affordable
homes to first home buyers.
The South Australian Government are putting
a large amount of funding into the Northern Suburbs area of
Adelaide. With
extensive new roading systems, large residential development
areas being allocated, and an increase in the local facilities
and amenities to service these growing areas. I feel that the Northern
Suburbs will be an even more exciting and popular place to live
within the coming years, and believe that these residential
developments such as Blakeview Grove currently
offer purchasers good value for money, with the likely
potential of solid capital gains growth within the coming
years.
